Singing to Inspire
It’s our nod to the Emerald Isle, a not-to-be-missed performance of traditional Celtic music on St. Patrick’s Day weekend! A true celebration of Celtic culture, the Chorale will be joined by St. Louis Irish Arts, who will provide ancestral Irish instrumentation and performances by Irish dancers. A reception that gives guests a taste of popular Celtic fare will close out the evening. We’ll transport audience members to a time when traditions where handed down through words and song and gatherings were intended to unify us all.

Season 22 was a resounding success, marked by artistry and innovation! We performed the United States premiere of "Requiem" and flew the Japanese composer, Ms. Masa Matsuura, to St. Louis for our performance. The Chorale also commissioned ten new arrangements of songs this past season by composers Elizabeth Alexander, Adam De Sorgo, Adam Maness, and Paul Reuter. Three of the commissioned arrangements were powerful anthems of hope by survivors of sexual violence. We also held our first ever "Community Conversation" and are working to make our next one even better!
